The Rt Rev William Wilson Cash DSO OBE DD〔(NPG details )〕 (12 June 1880 – 18 July 1955) was an Anglican Bishop〔''Ecclesiastical News New Bishop Of Worcester Consecrated'' The Times Monday, 3 Nov 1941; pg. 6; Issue 49073; col E〕 in the middle part of the 20th century. ==Life and career== Wilson Cash was educated in Sale〔“Who was Who” 1897–1990 London, A & C Black, 1991 ISBN 0-7136-3457-X〕 and became a CMS missionary in 1902. Ordained in 1911〔"The Clergy List” London, 1913, Kelly’s〕 he was a Chaplain to the Forces during World War I, and was awarded the DSO in 1916〔(London Gazette )〕 and the OBE in 1919. Afterwards he was General Secretary of the Society〔(CMS Records )〕 until his elevation to the Episcopate as Bishop of Worcester〔(National Archives )〕 in 1941.
